Every piece of Eleftheriou jewelry is meticulously crafted and undergoes thorough quality control before leaving our workshop. We take pride in the authenticity of the design, the quality of materials, and the integrity of its craftsmanship. Repair costs are determined based on the extent of damage or wear and agreed upon with the customer before any work begins. If replating is needed, the cost depends on the type of jewelry, weight, and type of plating [ platinum plating or gold plating ] and is confirmed with the customer before work begins. The same conditions apply to 18K white gold jewelry.

Most metals and gemstones are not indestructible. They are living, breathing expressions of the earth, organic materials shaped over millions of years, and each requires its own kind of care depending on its composition. Our collections are crafted either from precious metals such as Sterling Silver 925 or 18K Gold, or they pair fine metalwork with a carefully chosen gemstone/mineral.

Because of their nature, metals can oxidize, coatings can fade, and minerals can react to chemicals, or crack and break with strong impact. This is not a flaw but a reminder of their authenticity. Proper care simply preserves the brilliance, strength, and longevity of your jewelry so that it can accompany you through time exactly as intended. Please refer to the care tips given specifically for the jewelry materials you purchased. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

If a mineral from the ONE collection [comprised of custom, unique pieces] is damaged, broken or worn, replacement may not always be possible, as each stone is singular and the piece is designed specifically around it. In such cases, we may explore replacing the stone with a visually similar one, after which the piece is reconstructed to fit the new stone. Any such repair involves a cost for the customer which will be communicated in advance.

For pieces without stones, repair or reconstruction costs are communicated to the customer prior to starting the work.

SILVER:

Silver is a beautiful metal that naturally oxidizes [tarnishes] when exposed to air, which may cause a subtle brownish tint on the surface. To preserve the bright white shine, our pieces are platinum-coated.”

Maintenance Tips for Coated Pieces [Platinum or Gold Plating]:

1. Avoid rubbing with cloths.
2. Avoid soap, lotions, perfumes, hand sanitizers, or water exposure.

Over time, the plating will wear off naturally, revealing the base metal:

1. Black coating [rhodium or ruthenium] may fade to a soft gray, a natural and elegant effect.
2. White platinum coating will eventually reveal the natural metal, which will oxidize over time.

Cleaning Tips:

1. Warm water with mild soap [dish soap is ideal].
2. Baking soda with warm water and a very soft, used toothbrush.

Do NOT use chemical cleaners, as they may damage the metal or any mineral stones.

18K GOLD:

Oxidation of yellow 18K gold is purely superficial. Restoration services are provided free of charge. Avoid frequent polishing with brushes, as overuse may weaken the setting of stones in delicate pieces. Stay away from abrasive cleaners.

GEMSTONES / MINERALS:

Our gemstone pieces are crafted from naturally formed minerals that require gentle handling. To preserve their brilliance, avoid exposing them to sea-water, perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals, and extreme heat, as these can dull surfaces or weaken natural structures. Clean them only with a soft, dry cloth and store each piece separately to prevent scratches or chipping. Remember: these stones are treasures shaped by nature, and treating them with care ensures their beauty lasts a lifetime.

Particularly delicate stones include:

1. Pearls

3. Amber
4. Lapis Lazuli
5. Turquoise

To prevent scratching, store your Eleftheriou jewelry in a clean, dry place, keeping each piece separate in a soft-lined jewelry box with individual compartments or in its own soft pouch. Avoid airtight or hermetically sealed containers, as a lack of air circulation can accelerate oxidation and affect both the metal and the plating. Jewelry should be allowed to breathe: when stored in its pouch, place it in a drawer or storage space that is opened regularly and allows air to circulate. For optimal care, avoid humid environments such as bathrooms, and ensure each piece is completely dry before storing. Wearing your jewelry regularly also helps prevent oxidation, keeping the metal and its finish luminous over time.

All of our rings are adjustable, allowing you to find your perfect fit.

Please indicate your size upfront [European or American sizing] for optimal crafting. If you wish to adjust the ring yourself, it can be gently opened and closed with minimal effort. If resizing is required after purchase:
